Demand for permanent recruitment of contractual employees who have been on duty throughout the state (SSA). The Gujarat State Contractual Employees' Rights Forum has submitted a letter to the Education Minister saying that despite having been present for the past few years, issues like low wages and job security have not been resolved. Despite many appearances, only confidence has been received. A solid decision has not yet been made. In some states of the country such employees have been made permanent, in some states proper wages and proper protection are provided.
So, there has been a demand for justice given to the contractual employees of the state.
The Right Forum states that the standard in primary education. The entire education campaign scheme has been in operation since 2001, in the Education Department for grades 1 through 5. Activities related to education reform include admissions, virtues, cws activities for children, girls education, teacher training, out-of-school education, curatorial work, as well as the currently implemented online administrative work performed by SSA's contract based staff.
